Pneumatic winch(Air winch) is a traction/lifting equipment driven by compressed air. and its core power source is pneumatic motor. Compared with electric or hydraulic winches, it has the characteristics of explosion-proof, high temperature resistance, and impact resistance, and is especially suitable for flammable, explosive, dusty or humid environments (such as mines, oil fields, and chemical plants).
Structure and working principle:
Pneumatic motor: converts the kinetic energy of compressed air into mechanical energy to drive the drum to rotate.
Speed reduction device: adjusts the output torque and speed to meet different load requirements.
Braking system: adopts pneumatic friction brake or spring brake, and automatically locks when power/gas is cut off.
Wire rope/chain: standard diameter 6-20mm, traction range 1-50 tons (customizable).
Workflow: Compressed air → pneumatic motor → speed reduction box → drum rotation → wire rope retraction and release → complete traction/lifting.

Resistant to shock loads: Pneumatic systems have natural adaptability to vibration, high temperature and shock loads, and have high stability.
